Such a cutie! And whether your child is going back into the classroom or learning from home, it’s exciting to see our little ones grow. And we all like taking pictures of their accomplishments and milestones, thus the famous “First Day of School” picture that we take each year and share proudly with our family and friends.
Think twice before you post a picture of your child online.
A fun cameo is great. But take a look at what you are including in the picture. Are you giving away the school name, teacher’s name or other personal information that allows cybercriminals to know exactly where your child will be for the next school year? Is there anything in the background that would let predators know too much about your child’s interests, location or where they are going to be studying? Don’t allow predators to use the information to groom your children online.
